Unstoppable - Kenji - 01-08-2011 Tony Scott x Denzel Washington + Chris Pine = One great thrilling movie;Unstoppable. Today I saw Splice, then 30 min later I saw Unstoppable. Unstoppable is Tony Scott's typical action movie. But there were no violence scenes like True Romance, Domino, and Man on Fire. Just simply two men tried to stop the runaway train. But it was pretty good and I really enjoyed. Unstoppable - Scott Miller - 01-08-2011 Kenji Wrote:Tony Scott x Denzel Washington + Chris Pine = One great thrilling movie;Unstoppable. I saw it when it first came out and I liked it as well but it kind of had a made-for-TV feel to it. It was a very competent movie; it looked great, the acting was solid and the story wasn't bad, but it lacked an ooomph factor for me. But we should see this at big screen in a theatre. What is "ooomph"? Unstoppable - nonquixote - 01-09-2011 Kenji Wrote:What is "ooomph"? Ooomph is a word derived from the sound you make when hit in the stomach. it means impact, such that "it lacked an oomph factor for me" means it didn't have a very deep impact or affect on me. That is better than what I was going to say; Non describes it perfectly. |
