Secret Histories timeline - lexator222 - 12-07-2010

Hello, everyone. I am currently reading "Fatal Error", and the one thing that I have always wanted to know about the secret histories timeline, since we are in the "Fifth" age of mankind, when was the "First" age?
I mean approx how many thousands of years was it? When I first started reading RJ novels, I got the impression that it was like 28 to 30,000 years ago, but now I realize that it is far smaller than that, so I would like to get a "Guesstimate" from Doctor Paul, if I could!

Okay, Gang, never mind. While reading "Fatal Error" the other day, it said inside the book that the first age was "15,000 Years ago"! I just don't know if that means that the first age ENDED 15,000 years ago, or it had begun! Since we now have Chinese scrolls that have been dated back 8,000 years (or approx 2,000 years before ADAM!!!!) then ages 2, 3 and 4 must have ended in only 1,000 or so years! Totally amazing!

Hi!

Pardon me for asking -- this seems to be assumed knowledge -- but which RJ or AC book mentioned the other ages? Where does FPW mention the fifth age?

Thanks!

Sev

No problem, Sev. If my memory serves, it is mentioned several times in the series, mostly by Glakaen, I think. But my problem is this, it would take any human culture LONGER than 8,000 years to "come to term". I'm talking starting from "pre-humans" and becoming civilized, discovering fire, and killing, etc.
There is a scientist that has a theory about another planet between Mars and Jupiter, which was destroyed over 62 million years ago, and everyone thinks that he is a crackpot. Fact is, if you take all the pieces of rock that comprise the "asteroid belt" and put them all back together, you could have either TWO planets the size of Mars, (Mars is smaller than Earth) or you could have a planet larger than Earth! Scientists say that the asteroid belt was formed when the universe was formed, but that does not explain why all the fragments of asteroids are rough edged, not smooth as naturally formed rocks would be. There is alot of logic to this person's theory, but he is ridiculed by others, without any logical rebuttal.
boggles the mind!

Who's the scientist? I don't yet agree with him that there is enough "discovered" asteroids out there to assemble a planet, but they keep discovering more and more every year.

Just an example

Howdy!

I hate to be a stickler, but I recall several references to the first age, but none at all to the fifth age. Please educate me at least to the RJ book it's mentioned. I am amazed I missed that!

Also, what is the name of the scientist? I want to read his work since it sounds interesting.

Thanks!!!

I don't know who the scientist is, I was searching for the name of the planet outside of Pluto, which now has been declared NOT a planet by the scientists elite! Pluto has it's own orbit, as do many 2,000 mile diameter and 3000 mile diameter bodies in the Kuiper belt asteroid field outside of Pluto's orbit. The 10th planet I was looking for was originally named "Xexon" or something like that. I just happened to come across a page that referred to the large area between Mars and Jupiter, the great expanse between them, and mentioned the 10th planet, planet "K"! On the maps of the solar system, all of the planets are shown very close together, to fit it all on one page. If the true distance between Mars and Jupiter were shown, Earth would be a pin-head, Mars would be the point of that pin, and Jupiter would have to be a softball, or basketball, something like that. AND, Jupiter would have to be about 5 feet away from that pin!!!! Jupiter is about 1/10th the size of the sun, and the Earth is approx 1/10 the size of Jupiter. The Earth is 12, 756 KM, Jupiter is 142, 984 KM, and the sun is over a million KM!
I just Googled a map of the solar system, TO SCALE, and it came back with several maps showing Mars SO CLOSE to Jupiter that the gravitational forces would rip Mars apart!
Amazing!
There is a great expanse between the two planets, which most people don't even know. As to the body mass, I discovered that on my own, online. Taking the mass of the whole asteroid belt, I came to the conclusion that you could make APPROX two Mars sized planets. That was my conclusion, not the scientist's!
There are all sorts of illogical "Facts" about our history, that people have NO way of knowing, but it is listed in the history books as fact! It totally amazes me everytime I think that 500 years ago, you would be hung or stoned for thinking that the Earth was round, and NOT the center of our universe. Now, 500 years later, all these idiots are claiming that "this" is factual, or "that" is factual, and they really have no basis for their claims, but the science field En Masse accepts these conclusions as fact!

If you Google "Exploded Planet Hypothesis" or "Planet K" you can find the page that this scientist has. But you have to get thru a bunch of narrow minded idiots, most without any background or positions, that are blasting this person without any basis in fact.

Stickle all you want, I agree. I've never read any of that either. So I wonder if he's confusing Paul's novels with someone else's.

By "scientists elite," do you mean the astronomers who discovered it?

Eris, the largest dwarf planet known, was discovered in an ongoing survey at Palomar Observatory's Samuel Oschin telescope by astronomers Mike Brown (Caltech), Chad Trujillo (Gemini Observatory), and David Rabinowitz (Yale University). We officially suggested the name on 6 September 2006, and it was accepted and announced on 13 September 2006.

Narrow-minded idiots with doctorate degrees in astrophysics?

Please tell us what subject you have a doctorate degree in.
