I was watching Red the other day and thought he would be a good Jack. For those who dont know him, he also played Bones in the Star Trek reboot.
I hope the movie isnt a sore spot these days, just an observation on my part.

I don't know about him as Jack. But I think he actually could pull it off. He did a much better job in Star Trek than I thought he would. He was also good in Pathfinder.

They reuse extra costumes sometimes. First example did you know that in the Firefly TV Series all the Alliance officer and soldier uniforms are leftovers from the Starship Troopers movie done in 1997?

I think the costume resembles riot gear. It looks like they're trying to go for the gritty realistic approach that Nolan did with Batman.

Not sure if he is the best fit for Jack, but I've loved him in every movie I've seen him in over the last few years.
