Near the end of it Eric mentions bumping into F. Paul Wilson on Facebook, and adds that Paul's work is a major influence on him (he was talking about re-reading THE KEEP).

FPW should be a major influence on anyone who reads the earlier Repairman Jack books. I like them. I especially remember one scene where he was after some guy in the park.
