David Letterman and Sarah Palin - saynomore - 10-06-2009 So, all the time that David Letterman was criticizing Palin's motherhood, he was cheating on his wife. And his public apologies seem like publicity stunts geared to increase ratings against Conan and seem to underline an insincerity as he mixes humor with his words of regret. I'm not a Palin fan, but her motherhood had nothing to do with the vice-presidential run. I am a David Letterman fan, but his insincerity on the air is trying my loyalty. Is it time for Conan? AC P.S. Could you imagine this happening to Jack Paar or Steve Allen? David Letterman and Sarah Palin - mad4tunes - 10-06-2009 saynomore Wrote:P.S. Could you imagine this happening to Jack Paar or Steve Allen? Jack Paar, yes...Steve Allen, no. I quit watching Letterman several years ago. He's lost touch with humor and reality. He's definitely good at "flipping the script". I don't care. It's their life, not mine. His wife has to decide if she wants to stay in the money, or walk away from it all. She had to have known what was going on. He never tried to dictate a moral standard to Americans, he made fun of those who did. Palin was one of those who tried to tell us how to live while her own story is very questionable. Letterman can finish a sentence, and get a laugh. David Letterman and Sarah Palin - cobalt - 10-06-2009 I sometimes had watched Leno's show...mostly on a Monday when he did the Headlines bit. But now....meh. I lost interest in Letterman years ago...meh...but he actually got someone to cheat with? Maybe she needs glasses....he's fugly. I hear he is an asshole too. He stayed at a resort that I used to work at and I heard he got someone fired for asking for an autograph. Conan puts his ass on the line and acts like a total clown, but I think he's crazy funny; plus, his name is 'Conan.' David Letterman and Sarah Palin - saynomore - 10-11-2009 Letterman's ratings have gone up 19% since the scandal broke. See, I'm as prescient as Harlan Ell---Philip K. Dick. AC P.S. I think I need a spell check on this post. |
