I always felt that Bill Ryan AKA Bill Ryerson needed room to grow. Perhaps when Mr. Wilson wraps up the Jack series he could revive a character from previous works.
I always felt that Bill Ryan would make a good demon hunter of some sort.

Ryan is my favorite Wilson creation. I like him better than Jack. I doubt he'll ever get to him though. He's said in the past that he has no desire to visit the earth post Nightworld and as far as Will Ryan's backstory goes the only part that hasn't been in depth is the years farting around Bermuda. Good idea though and welcome to the board.

...father Bill is truly a stellar character. But c'est la vie if he doesn't get more "footage". What he did for those unfortunate boys leaves good vibes in my heart.
It's the old echo of real life, where people with great potential often get bypassed for many reasons. Bill did way more than his part, however. Should such horrors happen to any of the rest of us, very few would answer the call. Most of us would have cratered before Bermuda.
