Ok, picked up Gateways (my 1st Jack) the other day.....read it in one sitting. Went to my local Borders and bought every Repairman Jack book they had!
Have now finished that stash and am looking for more. Haven't yet been able to track down CONSPIRACIES or THE HAUNTED AIR at one of my local stores as of yet...but have a couple more to visit.
Meanwhile, picked up the only other FPW book my Borders had.. Midnight Mass. Loved it as well, and have now hooked my husband on FPW as well.
Met FPW in Phoenix at the 1st ThrillerFest, before I had ever read him. Had him autograph my copy of Thriller. It was that book that sparked my interest in the Repairman..reading his short story INTERLUDE AT DUANE'S. I'm just sorry it took me two years to followup!!
Have been to two ThrillerFests, as a fan/reader only. Love being able to meet the writers I love to read. Skipping this year's since 1) location is a repeat, and 2) it was very expensive.
Hoping next year's is somewhere else other than NYC (don't get me wrong, I LOVE NYC and my hubbie has family there so we go at least once a year). Just like to combine visiting a new city with meeting my favorite writers!
Lee Child's Jack Reacher drew us to the 1st two ThrillerFests, and I'm "hoping" FPW will be attending next year's, as I would like to meet him again now that I've come to love his Jack as well.
That said, I am more of a lurker than a poster...so will only pop up occasionally, if at all. Just wanted to thank you F. Paul, for your body of work. Have loved all I've have read so far and can't wait to read the rest!

You may have better luck finding Conspiracies and The Haunted Air at abebooks.com.
