Bad Taste *spoilers* - GeraldRice - 04-01-2008 By surprise, I got this movie last weekend. It had been somewhere around 20 years since I'd last seen this flick. I'd assumed it would just sit in my Blockbuster queue forever. I watched it last Saturday and it was awfully good. You get to see Peter Jackson at his rawest; no sets, a teeny budget for special effects, but he was extremely creative even then. I watched while I cleaned house and watched the baby so I missed a LOT of dialogue (but somehow that didn't effect the continuity of the movie-go figure?). I completely forgot about the guy falling on the rock and cracking his skull open. It was gross when his head would open up and he'd go into seizures and would pack pieces of brain back there =YUCK=. I started to check what was available through Blockbuster. No Meet the Feebles (had that in my Netflix queue), no The Valley, I have Dead Alive (I hope it's the unrated version), and The Frighteners. |
