Incredible Hulk - just how "incredible"? - beowulf - 03-13-2008 I'm sure many of you have seen it. I was a HUGE hulk fan as a child, Lou Ferigno is who made me hit the gym as soon as I was old enough. I watched the TV show, the cartoons, even collected some of the comics. Needless to say, I was disappointed with Ang lee's take on our favorite green giant a few years ago. I am also a huge Ed Norton fan, so I have high hope for this movie. From this trailer I think we might be in for a treat...but I don't want to hold my breath: http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1583143&vid=215625 Incredible Hulk - just how "incredible"? - Schwinn160 - 03-13-2008 I can't see the vid here at work, but I'm a big Norton fan, too, and I think he'll do great. I hear he even wrote the script?!? I have never seen the original movie. It was supposedly sucky and I never took the time to be angered by it. From this trailer I think we might be in for a treat...but I don't want to hold my breath: C'mon. Ben Grimm could take the Hulk. No two ways about it. The Hulk is stronger? You bet. The Thing a =finer man=, you bet that too. One night in a bar..."Charlie...hit me again, won't you?" A scatter of empty beer and whisky bottles "Sure, pal...but listen, Ben--hittin' a little hard tonight, right?" "Charlie...look at me..." "Yeah..." "What...what do you see?" "Well, I see my friend Ben Grimn. See the strong man of the Fantastic Four. I don't know. What do you want me to see, Ben? "C'mon. You see a monster. You see a fucking monster. Right? Hey...take care." "You take care too, Ben." Not to far to our place...not a bad coat...gives me a little cover...so people can't see me...wait...39th Street and Second Avenue...what's happening here?... The place is blazing! FIRE! MY BABY! OH PLEASE, SOMEBODY, HELP ME! Ben shouted, I AM COMING! Fire can't hurt me much...but it can hurt the woman and the little one...OK...let's get some water from this fire hydrant...smash it over, get cool water, pay for it later, soak my coat, I AM COMING! Wrap my wet coat around them... HERE! WE'RE SAFE ! RIGHT, LADY? BABY IS SAFE TOO? GOT YOU BOTH DOWN, RIGHT? Apparently there is a small war going on as we speak between Norton and the studio. He had the same clause in "American History X" and, I think we can all agree, that worked out pretty well. Thanks for the clarification. I saw the trailer earlier today, and I think it's going to be amazing! The Abomination looked excellent, too! I'm apparently one of a handful that thought Ang's version was pretty good. Perhaps it helped that I was never a fan of the comic but I did enjoy the old TV show. I do think the trailer looks good too. I liked the Ang Lee version, except for the ending. The Hulk scenes were very good and Eric Bana was pretty convincing. I'm reserving judgement on the Ed Norton version. The trailer looks pretty good, except I do not like the face of Abomination. It looks like they drew a face on a balloon.
