Oh yeah, I brought this film up a while back - I am VERY excited about this one. If you want to see internet geekdom at its peak, check out the Cloverfield IMDB message board. The theories and arguments are astounding! They have done a really good job of keeping the monster top secret. But we will all know in 3 weeks!

Yeah, I'm telling you....check out the IMDB page...those guys come up with theories and then argue about EVERYTHING. One of the ideas is that the creature is some sort of mutated whale creature, and like whales, it has parasites living on its skin. When the creature surfaces in NY the parasites fall of and start attacking people...mutating them. Sounds crazy.
This all has to do with some drink called Slusho.
