Flight of the Conchords - ccosborne3 - 07-09-2007 Anybody watching Flight of the Conchords on HBO? I caught it a couple of times and its pretty funny. They can write a catchy tune too. Flight of the Conchords - ccosborne3 - 07-09-2007 Just found the show can be viewed on hbo.com for free. Well worth the twenty minute investment. Flight of the Conchords - Paige - 07-10-2007 Went to one of their live shows by a fluke once. Before the HBO one. They're very sweet and funny. Flight of the Conchords - colburn0004 - 02-22-2009 I just started watching this on HBO recently and I think it's very funny. Some times I think the songs sometimes interupt the show being funny but most the time theyre catchy and funny. Flight of the Conchords - Mick C. - 02-22-2009 I love that show. The musical spoofs are spot-on - Prince, Bowie, The Pet-Shop Boys. The last episode, where Jermaine is dating the Australian girl in a take-off on Romeo and Juliet, was hysterical - especially the end. As was the Race War episode, or the one where Jermaine has to become a prostitute because Britt bought his own tea cup. I love the continuing gags, too, like the lukewarm travel posters on the New Zealand Consulate walls and the self-made t-shirts Mel wears (which usually have photos of Jermaine or Britt that appear to have been taken by surprise.) Flight of the Conchords - Maggers - 02-22-2009 Love this show! Love the New Zealand vs Australian thing. Love the music videos. Love the characters. Love the silliness. Love everything about it. Flight of the Conchords - ccosborne3 - 02-22-2009 That's right, once again ccosborne3 is ahead of the curve. He has his thumb on the pulsebeat of the nation AND HE"S NEVER LETTING GO! Flight of the Conchords - colburn0004 - 02-23-2009 Last nights episode had a hilarious ending. "So how long as he been missing?" "Oh, six years" BrahBrah. This show is great. I really liked the episode when they mentioned early on that Brett only dances when he's upset. It seemed a bizarre non-joke at the time, but then when he was dumped and he started into a Footloose routine Sorrel and I were in stitches! Can't wait for Season 2 to reach this side of the pond. Flight of the Conchords - Scott Miller - 05-26-2009 I just wrapped up season one and found it great. I loved the music-picking up the CD tomorrow from the library and am curious as to how much different they will sound without seeing them. My favorite song is "The Best Looking Girl(In The Whole Wide Room". My favorite episode is when the bought the leathers and got caught in the rain wearing them and didn't have enough sense to take them off. Mick C. Doug cracks me up too. |
