Fred Saberhagen (1930-2007)
Renown sci-fi/fantasy author Fred Saberhagen died on
Friday, June 29, 2007, after a two-year battle with cancer.
He had a long and distinguished career in the fields of
science fiction, fantasy, and horror.
Constantly re-inventing himself, he wrote several popular long
running series including his Dracula Novels, The Berserker books
(implacable alien machines bent on destroying all organic life),
both his "Swords" and "Lost Swords" series, and in more recent
years his "Book of the Gods."
Fred walks in shadows with his brother-in-arms, the late
great Roger Zelazny.
His was a Goodlife...

I liked some of his work. The early Berserker stuff and the Swords stuff.
