Virgin - jpwynn - 07-13-2004 Just started reading Virgin yesterday. Oh....and I finished it yesterday as well. It's strange. I could not put it down. It certainly wasn't the most suspenseful of Wilson's books. But I could not put it down. I loved it. I was wondering if anyone else had read it and if so.....any thoughts? I am not Christian, but it's touched my heart. Great and beautiful story......This is similar to The Touch. If you not read The Touch, I recommend it. You will like it. It certainly wasn't the most suspenseful of Wilson's books. But I could not put it down. I loved it. I recently read Virgin also. It wasn't my favorite FPW book, but I thought it raised some very interesting ideas. The thought that the next coming of Christ could actually be the Virgin Mary instead of Christ is something that hadn't occurred to me. The reviews and dedication were funny :p Virgin - InfinityLtd - 07-13-2004 I was reading this thread. The book sounds very interesting, but when I did a search at Bookfinder.com, I only found two listings with the title "Virgin" by itself: one by James Patterson and one by Mary Murphy. Was this book published under a pseudonym or was it a limited edition from a small press and, thus, out of my financial means? Thank you. Thank you very much for the confirmation! Virgin - Noelie - 07-13-2004 ... Ever have one of those moments when the light goes on over your head? I had seen mention of this book on the website and forum many times, but never paid that much attention to it. But for some reason, THIS post made the light bulb blink on. I read it a LONG time ago, probably when it first came out. And I loved it. My reaction just now was, "Oh hell, no wonder I enjoyed it so much!" Sheesh. To elaborate slightly, Mary Elizabeth Murphy is the maiden name of FPW's wife. Ken V.
