Kenji and Korean Flicks - saynomore - 03-02-2007 Hey, Kenji, old man. It's kinda stuck in my mind that you don't care for Korean flicks. Is it Korean horror flicks or Korean flicks in general? Have you seen THE HOST? Damn good monster movie, and funny too. Have you seen A TALE OF TWO SISTERS. I rank it up there with RINGU 0, the prequel to RINGU, which I feel is the best of the four RINGU flicks. The dubbed version of THE HOST is coming to the states. I plan to watch it just to see it on the big screen, as I have only watched it on the Korean dvd I purchased a few months ago. Anyway, wassup? AC P.S. There was a time that I didn't like Mexican movies; they were an embarassment in the 1970-1980s. "Aztec Mummy vs. Mil Mascaras" was a terrible flick, but was the norm for Mexican movie horror. Today, however, Mexican moviemaking is considered the new rennaissance across the globe, and it all started with a little horror flick called, CRONOS. If you haven't seen it, check it out. Then check out THE HOST. Kenji and Korean Flicks - Scott Miller - 03-02-2007 saynomore Wrote:AC Cronos is awesome; one of the best horror movies I've seen. The scene in the bathroom when the guy gets a bloody nose is fantastic. Kenji and Korean Flicks - Kenji - 03-03-2007 saynomore Wrote:Hey, Kenji, old man. Hey, AC. I checked about THE HOST in imdb, but Japanese title was "Guemuru". It was already released in Japan last year. But I haven't seen it. Well, anyway I don't care for Korean movies. Sorry. Quote:P.S. Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Hui brothers movies. Has anyone seen Hui Brothers movies before? For example, I liked this one. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082761/ Kenji and Korean Flicks - Scott Miller - 03-05-2007 saynomore Wrote:Have you seen THE HOST? Damn good monster movie, and funny too. I was intrigued by the advertisement in the paper today, so I did a little search and came up with this- http://www.hostmovie.com/ -looks good, but the only version available is going to be dubbed-BOO!
