I read the last 3 books of the adversary cycle a long time ago ( thankfully, I don't remember them much so if I can ever track them down I'll be able to enjoy them even more now). Somehow, I never read the first 3 ( but I did manage to get a copy of The Keep last week).

I'd never even heard of Repairman Jack until a few months ago when he popped up on my Amazon recomendation list. I hate reading Jack's adventures out of order, but they were pretty tough to come by so I didn't have much of a choice. I finally managed to get ahold of the last four that I was missing from Conspiracies through The Haunted Air.

I guess the best thing about discovering a previously overlooked treasure like RJ is that you've got some good reading to do before you catch up and have to wait for the new ones to come out. At least I have one more great author providing me something else to look forward to.

I want to be Repairman Jack when I grow up.

And there are always re-reads where you often find connections between the books that you missed before. That's fun too.

Welcome to the board, Tex! But as far as wanting to be Jack...well, he has his faults, too, don't he? And Paul wouldn't have created so appealing a character if Jack were Senor Perfecto. Them guys is no fun.

A fellow Texan, welcome.

You are so lucky to get to read them all without the year or more wait between them. And, I second the re-read, you will almost always find something new in a re-read!!!!

RJ fans are kinda like the Borg- you WILL be assimilated, the difference is you'll enjoy every moment of it.
I wanna be Jack too- but I refuse to grow up. I want a place jam packed with neat stuff you can only find in funky lil Shurio Coppes Wink, to kick ass on a daily basis and make it count, and to be there for the ones I love- even if I have to go through someone else to get there.
Jack rules.
Welcome a-Board.
