Help! - stacyzinda123 - 02-21-2007 Hi guys, I need help! I can't remember the name of a movie I wanted to add to my Netlfix queue. When we were watching A Scanner Darkly, there was a trailer for a horror movie at the beginning. I can't remember what it was called, but I want to see it! I can't even remember many details, but there was a couple in a car and they stop at a rest stop and she gets attacked. That basic scene seems to repeat itself. I looked in the horror section on Netflix and can't find it, so maybe it's not out yet. It seemed to be a direct to DVD kind of movie, and I don't remember any other trailers for it. If anyone knows what movie I'm talking about I'd really appreciate the help!! Thanks, Stacy Help! - ccosborne3 - 02-21-2007 Need more info! The only way to find out is to find someone that owns the DVD and have them watch the preview. It probably only sold 8 copies or so. Might be difficult. Help! - GunslingerAW - 02-21-2007 Maybe Rest Stop directed by John Shiban. Help! - ccosborne3 - 02-21-2007 Off the top of my head I can think of 3 films that had women being attacked in rest stops. The Vanishing Breakdown Joy Ride Unless you saw an add for a rerelease its probably none of the three. All three were pretty good films though, you might want to check them out. Help! - stacyzinda123 - 02-21-2007 I think it was Rest Stop. I should have at least tried that name, considering it was the only thing I could remember about the movie! I added it to my queue. I saw Joy Ride, that was a pretty good movie too. Thanks for the help. I didn't want to have to get A Scanner Darkly again just for the trailer! A word about "The Vanishing," don't watch the American version. It sucks compared to the incomparable Danish version ((I think it's Danish). The European version is THE most horrific movie I've seen, and it doesn't have an ounce of blood flowing anywhere. I was dumbfounded and weak at the knees when I left the theater back in 1988. Just please, do not watch the American version. If you want a great movie watch the European version, the original. It's called "The Golden Egg" in whatever it's native language is. But I think you can get it under "The Vanishing" also. Help! - ccosborne3 - 02-21-2007 Maggers Wrote:A word about "The Vanishing," don't watch the American version. Yep, the American version sucked something awful. Should have mentioned that. Help! - Medusa - 02-21-2007 It almost sounds like the remake of The Hitcher with Sean Bean. (Borimer from LOTR). |
