Who else has a CHL? - Crusader556 - 12-16-2006 I know there's quite a few gun owners here and I was wondering who else has a CHL and carries a gun daily? If so what's your current EDC? I've been carrying a Glock 30, .45 ACP since about 1997. My current EDC includes the pistol, spare mag, Surefire E2e and a Spyderco Manix. The holster is a Comp-Tac Pro-Undercover setup for appendix carry and the mag carrier is by Bade-Tech. I also generally have a couple of extra spare mags stashed in the car. I think Jack would approve... Who else has a CHL? - Kenji - 12-16-2006 In the car? I'm not sure, but is it legal? Who else has a CHL? - Crusader556 - 12-16-2006 Kenji Wrote:In the car? If so what's your current EDC? I thought you meant Canadian Hockey League! Most of my adult life I have been exempt from needing concealed carry permits, either because I was a prosecutor or a judicial officer. I did have one for a short time when I needed it. I've carried various weapons over the years: Colt Combat Commander .45 ACP, Browning Hi-Power 9mm, Llama .380 ACP, Taurus PT92 9mm, Glock 19, Keltec P-11, Seecamp .32 ACP, Walther PP .32 ACP, FEG SMC .380 ACP and East German Makarov (Pistole M). For concealability the Seecamp is best, but for firepower with concealment I go with the Keltec or the Makarov every time. My Keltec has the optional belt clip attached to the frame, and for the Makarov I use an IWB holster. The Seecamp I just put in my pocket (with no keys or change--very important!).
