First Age - Dave F - 10-21-2006 IMHO FPW is revealing bit by bit a fantastic and rich background to the RJ books & advesary cycle Sometime ago I managed to find a copy of Demonsong, the story where it all started. I am sure I read somewhere that FPW had no intention to tackle a post nightworld story, but that he may do some prequel type stories All that was really just a rambling way to ask FPW if he really does have any plans to maybe revisit the first age & tell the story of Glaeken & Rasalom? Not sure about other members, but I for one would love this. First Age - natalya - 10-21-2006 You've read "Demonsong"? I've never been able to read that particular story here in Singapore. Could you detail it a little for me? I would very much appreciate it. First Age - Dave F - 10-21-2006 natalya Wrote:You've read "Demonsong"? I'll reply via private message if that is OK with you, don't want to spoil for others who may want to read in future First Age - Maggers - 10-21-2006 Britfan Wrote:... to ask FPW if he really does have any plans to maybe revisit the first age & tell the story of Glaeken & Rasalom? The desire for a prequel has been long voiced on the board. Ask Aphew about it! First Age - APhew - 10-21-2006 Maggers Wrote:The desire for a prequel has been long voiced on the board. Ask Aphew about it! A prequel you say... hm... that is quite a good idea. But a prequel to what? The Keep? So a Keep.... Prequel. I do say, that is quite the inspiration you got there Maggers. It just sounds good as it rolls off the tongue... Keep Prequel. Mmmmm... delicious. Someone should mention it to F. Paul, he might get a kick out of the whole idea. The preceding was me trying to use a British accent (trust me, it's worse if heard and not read) and dry wit. Yeah, well, it's a Saturday and I was feeling adventurous. So sue me. For a true undertsanding of the British, from the perspective of an American I recomend "Notes from a small island" by Bill Bryson I laughed so much I cried the first time I read it - I still pick it up to re read when I am feeling particularly depressed |
