'Lipidleggin' - Dalt - 04-05-2006 Hello again folks. I don't spend as much time in here as I'd like, I hope you're all well. I saw 'Lipidleggin' tonight and thought I'd make a public declaration of praise. A fine piece of Directing and Editing, Dave, I was really pleased with it. I played it again when I got home and you're right, the sound 'issue' isn't as noticable when the acoustics are as they should be. I can't comment on my own performance but it's a great short story well told, in my humble opinion. You deserve a lot of credit for that. I hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did. The idea of putting the shorts together on one disk is a sound one and I hope it works out well for all involved. Praise be to 'F.P'. Dave is brilliant, I tell you! And your performance was fantastic. Kudos to both of you! Susan 'Lipidleggin' - Marc - 04-05-2006 I'll third that Lipidleggin' is extremely well done. I did finally convert it to NTSC for the DVD but even on my home entertainment system the music does drown out some of the dialogue at times. When the DVD is finally released it will, of course, be Dave's call. And for anyone wondering about the DVD: Ian (the director of Foet) is currently doing reshoots for his current film. Once that's completed he's going to to some tweaks to the current edit and get it to me hopefully in May or June for the difinitive version. At that point Foet, Traps and Lipidleggin' will be compiled onto a DVD with some extras for each film. Hopefully we'll be able to make the DVD available sometime this fall. I am so impressed with the talent of the people on this board. What role did Dalt play? 'Lipidleggin' - Dave - 04-06-2006 Thanks Dalt, and thank you very much for coming along, great to see you again. Everyone loved your performance, a few said you had a bigger presence on screen than in person , I said that was because you deliberately bulked up to make yourself look the part Cheers everyone else too with the kind words. Maggie, Dalt played Mr Guerney, our hero of the hour (or nine minutes). Dave 'Lipidleggin' - jimbow8 - 04-06-2006 Maggers Wrote:"Lipidleggin" was great. The surefire way is to wait for the bumper fpw dvd bonanza that will arrive later this year. Because of the prospective dvd and my desire to enter it into festivals I won't be putting it on the web any time soon. You could fly over to London, I'll show you the film around my flat...
