It appears that the Simpson's producers are also fans of this live opening, since they used it for last night's episode! At first I thought they must have made their own version, but, comparing it to the video linked in this thread, it's the same one.

They did it as a promo here, and I read they're really chuffed the Fox Network wanted to show it.
