Anthology:"A Modern Treasury of Great Detective & Murder Mysteries" - Kenji - 01-29-2006

Do you know "A Modern Treasury of Great Detective & Murder Mysteries"? It's a long title, don't you think? And this is an anthology book. Japanese title is "Shi no hikou"(Death Flight).

Check this "A Modern Treasury of Great Detective & Murder Mysteries"

Edited by Ed Gorman, and authors are Charlotte MacLeod, Sara Paretsky, Joan Hess, Faye Kellerman, Ed McBain, etc etc....and F.Paul Wilson's "Faces"! Cool I had already read Faces in "The Barrens and Others", but that's English edition. Today, fortunately I found out "vol.2" in used book store. I couldn't find out "vol.1" though.

Most good point of anthology, that's because we can read many authors's short stories. Charlotte MacLeod's short story, "More like Martine" was 16 pages only, and it was very dark and fascinating story. Of course, "Faces" is a best one in this book, but I'll enjoy other stories too! Smile
