Fantastic Four - Kenji - 09-17-2005

Today I went to theater see "Fantastic Four".

I know it was already released in U.S., but nobody mentioned about this movie. Nobody likes this movie? I like it very much. One of the reasons is...Jessica Alba! Big Grin

BTW, last week, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, they visited to Japan.
Check their interview.↓ Cool

I just returned from seeing it and thought it was decent. There were a few great sequences and The Human Torch awesome, but I was disappointed in how they handled Doom, he never materialized as a formidable foe. Overall it was a poor man's Incredibles.

A very fine reason it is; she manages to be sexy while invisible.

I don't know about original comics series. Doom was formidable foe in the comics?

Exactly! That's what I wanted to say. Wink

He was their arch nemesis. I was never a huge fan of the FF, but as I understand it he was Reed's intellectual equal who badly hurt himself in an experiment, so he made his suit of armor and tried to take over the world at every opportunity.

I've heard they are outlawing her in several states due to her effect on the male libido.

I see. Thanks for info.

Really? In an America?

At least, Japan accepted her. Smile

You mean you haven't heard of The Alabamians Against Alba? It's terrible, all the teenage boys are being forced to discard anything that has her image because they claim that the wasted sperm could be used to impregnate a relative.

Scott put it precisely--imagine a man with Reed Richards' scientific genius who is a stone psychopath. Though, to be fair, he could show nobility. Once, he and the FF were fighting a common foe. The FF were down. Doom stood alone. And he roared at the enemy alien, "Though I =reel= from your mind-blasts, I still =stand=! And while Doom stands...he FIGHTS!" Well-spoken, Doctor, damn well-spoken! :p

Hmmm........? Is it true? I've never heard such a ridiculous story! Rolleyes

Oh,....that's interesting. Thanks for explanation, Bluesman! Wink

LOL Scott

Also I once wrote a thesis on the incidence of inbreeding as a function of the number of country music stations in a given geographic area
