LaNague - DrJonLJ - 06-17-2005 Hey guys, I was curious if you could explain to me the LaNague(sp?) Chronicles... I can't find a clear explanation of what stories constitute this cycle. I have heard Healer, Wheels within Wheels, etc.. What is the correct reading order? Is there a compilation of all these stories out there? This may be a stupid question, but it only mirrors my own intelligence level.... LaNague - Marc - 06-18-2005 There's a detailed explanation in the FPW FAQ located at: http://webpages.charter.net/mjturman/fpwfaq/index.htm LaNague - DrJonLJ - 06-18-2005 Perfect.. Thank you so much. I have seen this FAQ and I remembered reading an explanation of the LaNague stories, but could not remember where. Thanks again. LaNague - Jebur27 - 12-29-2011 What would be the reading order for this series? (The link above is dead) LaNague - Marc - 12-29-2011 Jebur27 Wrote:What would be the reading order for this series? (The link above is dead) See Published Works. LaNague - Jebur27 - 12-29-2011 Saw that, but I didn't know if that was the proper story order or published order. Thanks! LaNague - Alvin Fox - 12-29-2011 The timeline for the novels and short stories in the LaNague universe is as follows: "Lipidleggin'" An Enemy of the State Dydeetown World The Tery Healer I "To Fill the Sea and Air" Healer II "The Man with the Anteaters" Healer III "Higher Centers" Wheels Withing Wheels "Ratman" Healer IV Healer V The five different Healers are sections of that novel that stretch over a long time. I figured "LaNague #1, LaNague #2 and LaNague #3" sort of answered your question. :p But Alvin did give a more detailed answer. LaNague - Srem - 12-31-2011 Other than The Tery (which I liked) and Ratman (was ok), I haven't read any of the LaNague Chronicles material. I almost ordered them off of Amazon, but have never really been a big fan of sci-fi stories. Is there any one else here that isn't a big sci-fi fan that still enjoyed the stories, and would encourage reading them? |
