The bone has essentially died, but I still have most of a range of motion and little pain. If you go chasing x-rays then you can make a tenable situation very untenable. If I get more pain then I can go for a partial or complete fusion.

I'm not there yet.

Keeps it from digging into sensitive areas. I have lots of practice, since that's where I carry concealed.

Good luck with that. Make sure you pick a hand doc that knows WELL what he is doing....when ever you "get there".
