That's right. And Abe showed himself to be a real man in that book. He slept on the couch, so that anything bad coming in through the door would have to get through him to hurt Gia and Vicky. And when Scarlip came out of the water, he didn't run. He produced his pistol and pumped 6 shots into the Otherness monster. It didn't hurt Scarlip a bit, of course, but he tried. He tried.

She was mentioned again, sort of, in Hosts, as part of Jack's nightmare about what the world would become. In that nightmare, she had brought Abe a cake or something as a peace offering, however... :eek:
