Hmmm....interesting pick. You're definitely right about him having to gain weight. I looked him up and his face seemed familiar but I had to check IMDB to actually recall anything he'd been in. Looks like he has an extensive bakground, although I must admit that I haven't seen the greater majority of his work. I wish I could have seen him in Quantum Leap

I know him from Darren Aronofsky films (like REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, BLACK SWAN, THE WRESTLER, PI, etc). All great films.
And every time I've ever read a passage with Abe in it, for some reason, Mark Margolis always pops into my head to play the part of Abe in my imagination.

I remember him from Oz. I do not think he would be good for Abe but I think he'd be great for Dr. Theodore Cuza if The Keep ever got remade, which it should. I mean geez...they're already remaking the spiderman trilogy.

do y'all ever wonder if the reason the RJ movie isnt getting made is because its not a christian based story? it has good/evil but not christian good and evil and hollywood only allows christian movies to be made? take the golden compass for example ...
does anyone else think this could be the reason?

I really don't think that's a religion question... There is a lot of movies with good ans evil subject without any bearing with christianity. Take for exemple Indiana Jones 2, Alien, Predator, The Haunted House, The House on the haunted hill... The war of the Roses!!!
