The Keep-DVD. - Sigokat - 01-16-2008 Marc B. Wrote:I won't post directions or URLS here but it's available as a torrent. And if I'm not suppose to mention "torrent" then I apologize and please remove this message. I've checked out the link that was posted earlier, but I'm still debating on whether or not to buy it from that site. I was keeping my fingers crossed that I might get lucky and find it here, but so far I haven't, but I since I have off-sites within my company that I must visit I can always check the shops there on my way back for the night. I've heard of torrents before, but I'm not sure what they are exactly. If it is ok to explain what they are I would appreciate it and if not then why are they forbidden to be spoken about? I might have to burn my vhs copy to dvd and send you a copy. In doing so I run the risk of unleashing a dark force upon the world, like The Ring...and Pootie Tang. Still...I just might do it. It's a way of sharing digital content such as video, music, ebooks, etc. online similar to P2P networks. Sites like BitTorrent.com have legitimate and legal material that copyright owners have given permissions to share/sell. Other sites host illegal copies which is where using torrents gets dicey. Personally, if something isn't legally available in your country and it's a choice between paying someone for a copy or downloading a copy for free I'll always choose downloading. This way, in my skewed mind, no bootlegger is making money. The Keep-DVD. - Keith the Elder - 01-16-2008 Marc B. Wrote:Torrents themselves aren't illegal. Is Graboid one of these sites and is it on the up and up, because they have "The Keep". I haven't watched the whole thing, but the quality is good so far. The Keep-DVD. - mkmfpwfan - 01-16-2008 Yes, that is how we got to watch it. We grabbed it off of Graboid and the quality was pretty good. I have seen worse movies, just the soundtrack was so distracting it was hard to concentrate on the movie itself.
