Anyone read the Preston-Childs novels? - kurrgan - 12-13-2006 How about Julian Sands? Anyone read the Preston-Childs novels? - GunslingerAW - 12-13-2006 I have read all the Pendergast novels and I think my favorite is Brimstone. I actually read Reliquary before Relic and I think my favorite character out of both novels was Mephisto. That guy kicked ass. With a shotgun. Then got dead. But oh well... As far as an actor to play Pendergast I have to completely agree with Webby and say Val Kilmer. Doc Holiday was originaly from Lousiana so is Pendergast. I completely forgot I had suggested Val Kilmer. Had to go hunting back through the thread to find it.
