Cable is like where you get several hundred channels plus the ability to watch some television shows when YOU want, not when they are scheduled to be on. Plus, your phone and your broad-band internet connection, all on the same bill.

All we need now is to convert cable to fiber optics and I'll be happier.

Tonight I watched "Pelts"(Thanks, cobalt!).

It was gory! Meatroaf cast off his skin...how could he do that?! Even David Copperfield can't do that! Big Grin (Actually, yesterday I went to D.Copperfield's illusion show)

Yeah.....I enjoyed it!

Finally mamanged to see Pelts

Great!

The GF isn't usually squeamish, but she was turning away at certain points

Wish a channel in the UK would pick the series up

I didn't really like Pelts. Sorry.

No need to appologise!

We all got our own tastes Smile

Only the 2nd masters of horror I've managed to lay my hands on (both Argento ones)

Nothing like this series over in UK at the moment

Out of interest are there any episodes you would recommend

Cheers

I've liked all the ones that I have seen so far except for Homecoming.

Cigarette Burns
Dreams in the Witch-House
Incident on and Off a Mountain Road
Chocolate

But the episodes are as diverse as the opinions about them. Some people hate them, some love them. I'm also EXTREMEMELY impressed with the extra features on the DVDs: interviews, making-of, etc.

Exactly. I liked Homecoming, but I disliked Chocolate.

When I got season 2 DVD box set, I want to see interview of FPW in "Pelts". Smile

I haven't heard of a box set. But I already have two of the episodes from season 1 anyway.

Sorry, I just dug up old thread. But today I started watching season 2 on DVD box-set(ep.1~7). One story, "The Screwfly Solution" surprised me. It's a short story by James Tiptree, Jr! Oh gosh! I've never forgotten that short story! So far,it's my favorite one. I also like "The Black Cat" by Edgar Alan Poe. Jeffery Combs really looked like Poe.

Next month, finally I can see "Pelts" with Japanese subtitles. Big Grin
