The only reason I can think of why Lori left to chase after Rick was she had talked with Dale who suspects that Shane sacrificed Otis so he (Shane) could survive and Lori just HAS to tell Rick NOW.

She's hormonal and had a gun....plus a notion that she had to go get Rick and tell him?

It's stuff like this that makes me really hate her character. What a dumbass!
Now she's walker bait....and they'll have to rescue her and she'll lose the baby and they'll be stuck on the farm while she recovers. Stupid.

Dale tried to talk to Lori about Shane, and she shut Dale down. I didn't get the impression that she was all that concerned about Shane.
I kind of hope she died in the crash. I am getting tired of her character and the wide eyed scared expression that seemed to be the only one the actress could have during the first half of the second season.
