I will say that Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan were absolutely magical in "Sleepless in Seattle" and "You've Got Mail". I would love to see them link up again. Two great actors with wonderful chemistry on screen. Tracy and Hepburn? Maybe, given a few more movies together. I dunno - I really thing Branagh & Thompson SIZZLE on screen - especially in Much Ado - Hanks & Ryan leave me a little flat - especially in comparison! Unfortunately we'll never see Branagh & Thompson together again - they are divorced Best Movie Couples (male/female) - Bluesman Mike Lindner - 04-18-2005 Ken Valentine Wrote:Who? The closest I've come to seeing one of his movies was a movie entitled Sylvester, about a horse named Sylvester Stallone. Ken V. (To be fair, he's made a few =good= ones, like NIGHTHAWKS and CLIFFHANGER.) Ken, you =have= seen ROCKY...right...? Cliffhanger??!?!? Are you serious? That was a shoddy piece of work. Only one actor of note, John Lithgow, and he only acted like he was pissed that he had to be in that movie. The woman that falls to her death at the beginning of the movie when Stallone "drops" her was lucky because she didn't have to be around for the rest of the movie. Nighthawks was a good movie, I will give you that. But, Cliffhanger? At least Judge Dredd didn't take itself seriously. |
