Radha Mitchell has certainly improved as an actress since Love & Other Catastrophes. She's great -and tough. So is Franka Potente, who has the right mix of sexy and realistic, and no trouble with accents (she's German). So who can play Gia's daughter? Dakota Fanning's agent would never let her take a bit part; she's already "above the title" and already 11 years old, but her younger sister Elle will be 7 this weekend, and looks to be following in her older SIB'S (couldn't resist the pun) footsteps. All should be peachy by 2006. My big question, is whether or not the guy who was 2nd AD on Austin Powers is the right guy to direct. Of course if Josh Hartnett is Jack, they already worked togerther on The Faculty. |
