it wasnt a worm or a parasite, it was a symbiont, the Dax symbiont to be exact. and Jadzia had the honor of being joined, not all Trills were joined.

You know, I always wondered what the Trill got out of that bonding, it always seemed a bit one sided to me.
Yeah, she was something, usually an overdone something, but being the big man's wife had perks I guess.
On another note, I was gone for the weekend so I must've missed whatever blowup happened, but if I may ask without inciting too much turmoil, what happened? Was it something over the police/shooting thread?

I grew up watching the original Star Trek but I like TNG more. I started watching DS9 a couple of years in and got hooked on it too. Never could get into Voyager though.

I did see The Captains and thought it was pretty good. This is the EXACT description to give for Avery Brooks. When I watched it I thought maybe he was high. ha ha
I do like Star Wars but I like Star Trek better. I've met a couple of the original Treks. I met George Takei and Nichelle Nichols (she STILL looks amazing) last year at 2 different Comic Cons here. This years we're doing to meet Walter Koenig and John Delancie (Q).

The whole country is having wacky weather. It was in the 30's in Florida and it snowed in Phoenix the other day.
