If memory serves, she shows up twice... at least by implication. A dog causes the incident that takes a driver out of commission and clears the way for Jack to (reluctantly) take his place, and a key phone call placed by an anonymous woman has a dog barking in the background. Those could be coincidences, but....

Yikes, The Ally doesn't sound that much nicer than The Adversary:eek: Just finished Reprisal, which means I've read almost every thing FPW has written except for the rest of the RJ series. I'm glad I went back and read all the non-RJ stuff before continuing with the RJ series because it lends a richer context to the RJ novels. (Also because they were wonderful stories; even the ones that had nothing to do with TSHOTW and/or the AC.) Now I can continue with All The Rage much more knowledgable about Jack's world.
Btw, BK, your Twins theory is a lot more plausible now that I know the Ally isn't above allowing horrific things to occur to foil the Adversary's goal.
