Dexter - Dave F - 07-10-2007 Woooooooooo and indeed hooooooooooooooo Dexter finally made it to UK FX channel 10.00pm Sunday - for any other Brits who are interested First impression - I'm not sure - where is the dark passenger! Different plot lines/endings, etc. than the series. But I love the series too. Some of the best stuff on TV. Dexter's 2nd season starts September 30th if I'm not mistaken. They have mentioned it on Showtime after the reruns. This past Sunday they showed the first episode of season one. I hope they play the whole season again, since I missed the first 6. Some elements were taken from the first book and some from the second and some were made up -- and it all rolls into a freaky great fantastic dark show. With humor. Don't get too disturbed because it does not follow the books closely. Visual mediums sometimes require different stuff than written mediums. Dexter - Maggers - 09-19-2007 DEXTER IN THE DARK just arrived from amazon.com. I'm dropping everything else to read it. Mine isn't here yet! *cry* But that's probably ok because I'm reading Bloodline now, hehe. ![]() Dexter - Maggers - 09-20-2007 Noelie Wrote:Mine isn't here yet! *cry* But that's probably ok because I'm reading Bloodline now, hehe. BLOODLINE is on its way from amazon.com, but I've got to finish DEXTER. So far I haven't been scared to death as I had been with the second book. He is still hilarious, though. Good question. But I don't really "hear" a character's voice in my head as I read, certainly not in the manner in which I hear it when it's spoken. I don't get my characters that way. I think I "see" characters more clearly than I "hear" them. Wow, this could be a whole thread unto itself.....how do you read? What do you see? How do you hear what you read? I think I'll start one.
