Aha! That's where the idea came from.

Rocky Mountain. It's a whitish base with lots of brown and black movement, some yellow/brown, and random wine blotches. We have Tabac Matte cork on the floor, maple Java cabinets, diamond shape MOP backsplash (arriving tomorrow!), and the walls are PPG Montego Bay. I spent a year planning, but it is coming together beautifully and with very few issues. The amount of kitchen-related stuff I learned is almost embarrassing, but it has paid off!

If you are interested in this kind of stuff, I can PM you the link to my progress thread on the kitchen forum, which also links to my photo bucket album.

I'd love to see a new kitchen. Smile
We had done the sink, floor, walls and appliances...then stopped to finish the family room that had some winter storm damage at the windows.
Your talk of granite just put the idea of new countertops back in my brain. ~hint...hint~

Sad news out of the western portion of the country.....nineteen firefighters lost their lives fighting wildfires that have been raging.
The heat isn't helping conditions either. It was 129 degrees in Death Valley! To those out west...stay hydrated and try and stay cool.

It's July and it's Texas but it is less than 100. It is even less than 90. I'd say that hell is freezing over but it's not THAT cold.

So...the west coast can blame Texas?

Ha...probably. I think we are back to normal Texas weather this week. It was great to be able to sit outside and enjoy the fireworks without sweating to death last week.

Almost done, thought I'd share a pic for Cobalt :-). Sorry it's ginormous, no idea how to resize with the picture post thingy.

That's really beautiful marble, rjack-fan.

Hello from sunny and dry hot Las Vegas. It's suppose to be 107 today. No humidity...but no foolin'...it's fracking hot!
