Gadzooks! I'm awed by the covers, especially "Reprisal." It is gruesome, especially if you've read the book and know what's coming. I also really liked the cover for "The Tomb."

I've read through this thread, and I must admit I'm rare surprised that no one else among the gang seems to have a time machine. My collection of rarities is small compared to that of many of our true scholars, but my shelf does boast a copy of NIGHTWORLD, published on Vulcan in 2268 AD, bound in genuine selat skin! I'll trade you the rarest item in my collection for it. A handwritten translation of "The Keep" done by a boy in Ethiopia to give to his Father. It is in Amharic (Ethiopic Script), written on "Save the Children" flyers with a large picture of Sally Struthers on the front and the translated text on the back. Comprised of 1247 pages, bound with handwoven leather string, this item is the rarest of all rarities...

Unfortunately, no. It looks like 8th or 9th generation copies. Also, I should mention that the writing was done in pencil and that the entire "novel" was dunked in a river at least twice before reaching the hands of the man I bought it off of.

Well, Mike, since "Only the good die young", and since, among other transgressions, I'm a LAWYER, I figure I don't need a time machine. I'll just stick (or schtick) around until 2268 or later. After all, I've waited 25 years for my Stillers to win "One for the thumb" as they were supposed to do after the 1980 season (I still remember the billboards: "One for the thumb in '81"). Now, granted, I'm not as patient as Cubs fans or Red Sox fans, but.....
Addendum/afterthought: Maybe Joe Pa will still be coaching my Nittany Lions then too.
