Twilight Zone - nonquixote - 04-03-2012

My favorite episode is Living Doll, with Telly Savalas. "My name is Talky Tina and I'm going to kill you!" Creeped the bejebus out of me as a kid.

Twilight Zone - cobalt - 04-03-2012

I remember that one. Talking Tina and her saying I hate you, you'll be sorry...in such a nice doll like voice. Creepy.

What is up with that can of fried chicken and how do I get me some of that!?

I know that looked so tasty. On a sort related note, have you watched the special features? Those old commercials are awesome, the way they used to advertise kills me sometimes.

Twilight Zone - Sigokat - 04-04-2012

yeah I've watched those, they are pretty funny. I liked when Rod Serling does his plugs for Oasis Cigarettes. Then watching "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up?" one of the women in the diner was smoking Oasis cigarettes LOL

Twilight Zone - Brian - 04-05-2012

Don't know if anyone mentioned them, but my favorite episodes are To Serve Man and Nightmare at 20,000 Feet.

Twilight Zone - Sigokat - 04-06-2012

I don't think anyone mentioned them because they are two of the most famous episodes in the entire series. We were talking about lesser known episodes.

Twilight Zone - Brian - 04-06-2012

Okay then, if we're taking lesser known. There was an episode with George Takei about an avenging sword. I had to look it up as I didn't remember the name of the episode. Neville Brand was the other actor, The Encounter. I think I saw it again during one of the marathons TNT runs around the holidays.

Twilight Zone - 414 - 04-07-2012

The writing on TZ was magnificent, and the casting bore out the story line so satisfyingly good. Why is it then that I so enjoy the crappy productions of Dr Who: good script but horrible production?

Twilight Zone - Tall Tyrion - 04-07-2012

I just watched When The Sky Was Opened last night. Nifty little episode based on a Richard Matheson story.

That makes four then, Star Trek alumni that is.

I don't know what it is about season 4, the hour long season, but that was a beast to get through. There were a few good ones, but some of them sucked and I hate to say that about this show. I'd be interested in seeing what you think of season 4 Sigokat or anyone else who has watched them. Incidentally, Sig, how far along are you?
