I was then publicly admonished by the Man himself for getting a little too close to an ad hominen attack...man...fun times LOL

It was Tony

In my defence...

No, I have no defence, guilty as charged. :eyebrows:

And buy Others. :becky:

And the Keep movie was good enough for the thirteen year old in me (it had nudity and sex), but I can't bring myself to watch it again.

Yes, please buy a copy of "Others", it also contains a filmed version of Lipidleggin' made by Dave Moore.

There Dave, I gave you your shout out too. Smile

I know. Lipidleggin is my favorite of the three. (Well done Dave!)

Saturday morning. Bored at work with nothing to do. Decided to watch The Keep on You Tube.

Bad choice. :frusty:

I managed to stay with it for about 40 minutes before I threw in the towel. The scene where Glaeken's eyes glowed at the German soldiers had me doing an impression of Leonard Pinth-Garnell in Bad Cinema - "Frightfully awful. Really bit the big one." And, I was really surprised at the positive comments about Tangerine Dream's soundtrack. Absolutely horrible.

Apologies to anyone who liked the film but I love the book so much that I can't imagine anyone giving the movie a good review.

Peter Weir to direct The Keep!

Alas, no, not our glorious host's story, it's a 2006 novel by Jennifer Egan.
Yes, it's supernatural, no, I don't think it involves eternal struggles of good and eeeeeevil.
