Hehe, sorry! I know Bing Crosby. But I've never seen his movies.:o Musicians As Actors - The Mad American - 10-18-2006 I think Tricky is a pretty solid actor. He has been in a few movies but the only one that is coming to mind now is "The Fifth Element". Will have to do some looking to see what other credits he has. How about Henry Rollins and Glenn Danzig? Hehe, OK OK they have VERY limited range and are pretty much typecast as themselves in movies but still... Dee Snider - "Strangeland" Gene Simmons - "Runaway" Sebastian Bach - "Gilmore Girls" John Denver - "Oh God" (etc.) Telma Hopkins - "Bosom Buddies" RIK Musicians As Actors - Scott Miller - 10-18-2006 For an interesting, disturbing look at white suburban kids trying to act 'black', check out James Toback's Black and White. He was cute but he wasn't that great of a singer or actor! :p Mandy Patinkin is outstanding as both singer and actor, one of my favorites, but I think we're looking for popular music singers that decide to try acting. Mandy is much more an artiste. Musicians As Actors - Maggers - 10-18-2006 webby Wrote:...Was he actually any good? Judging by the majority of lists and the movies mentioned, being good hasn't been a requirement. |
