not true. Forbidden Planet in London stock some of his stuff, as do the bigger bookshops in the capital. It's still an arse, but what can you do?? I have to use the net myself to get the new good stuff as it comes out, otherwise I'll miss it

I finished it last night. Your writing style was different (first person, for example) in some ways, but I think that I would have known it was you even if you had published it under a pseudonym. I think it proves that you don't have to write "horror" or violence in order to keep your fans happy. It was an inspirational, uplifting novel to me, and I felt incredibly good at the end. I think you should consider picking up Will and Maya's story a few years later and write a sequel. The door is certainly open.
BTW, am I alone in noting some parallels between Will Burleigh and Steve Dalt?
I encourage you to write more books like T5H if you have time. They WILL find an audience, and they will be a valuable addition to your body of work.

OK, I read the book finally, so now I can comment more edumacatedly. I returned the book to the library already, so I can't read the book flap, but from what has been posted I don't see it as misleading at all.
"Maya too has her secrets, and as Will unravels them, he begins to fear he might have made a terrible mistake."
Nowhere does it say that Will is being mislead, only that Maya is keeping secrets which is true.
Anyway, I thought this was a great book, Paul. **SPOILER** I thought the healing concept was very similar to the actions taken by Pard in Healer. I have read similar ideas and it gives one pause to consider the power of the human mind. If it is indeed true that humans only use about 10% of their brain capacity, how much more are we actually capable of? Can the power of belief and of the human will be harnessed? The possibilities are endless.
Again, GREAT book, Paul. Keep these "off-formula" novels coming. As much as I love the RJ novels (and all the others), nothing is better than something new and fresh.
