A fish call Wanda....(it's my favorite. :p )
Definite Clint Eastwood favourites;
Every Which Way But Loose & Any Which Way You Can. Just love the scenes with Black Widows, there is no fiercer bikie gang around. Big Grin
Kelly's Heroes

I found Fierce Creatures funnier than A Fish Called Wanda.

True Romance is well worth seeing if only for the Dennis Hopper/Christopher Walken showdown in the middle of the flick. Gary Oldman and James Gandolfini have great roles too. OUTSTANDING flic. My highest recommendation.

BTW, also a HUGE fan of Last of the Mohicans, although, as I have said before,. I defy anyone to read the fricking book. It is an abomination IMO.

Fave part of Way of the Gun - best opening 5 minutes in movie history (big claim I know, but there it is). Who am I kidding - I love the whole damn movie. And I think it made like $12.52 at the theaters when it was out.......

Uh, do you mean, "Sex, in a Car, Running From the Cops"? That movie was called The Chase? Hahaa!! Big Grin

Maggers Wrote:It's ironic that the one film that Michael Mann messed up, and he messed it up BIG TIME, is "The Keep." Otherwise, I am a huge fan of his. My fav film of all time, which probably does not belong on this he-man-woman-hater-club thread, is Michael Mann's "Last of the Mohicans," about which I've posted at least a million times.

Yeah, I guess a "Supernatural Thriller" is out of his area of expertise (unfortunately for us). I'm a big fan though. He is developing a pretty impressive body of work. I think "Heat" and "Manhunter" are phenominal. Plus Mohicans and Colateral are great films.

OMG!!! You must see True Romance right this second!!! It is truely an all-time-great film. I swear, I've never met a person who didn't like True Romance!!!

jimbow8 Wrote:True Romance was directed by Tony Scott and written by Quentin Tarantino. It is probably my sentimental favorite of QT's movies.

In the dvd's commentary, Quentin actually said the movie was better than it would have been if he'd have directed it himself! What a movie!!

I totally agree with you, t4terrific. Smile But I've ever met a person who didn't see "True Romance". What should I do to them? Big Grin

BTW, have you ever seen "Killing Zoe"? If you didn't, you should see it.

I have. An old roommate thought the violence was too gratuitous. I told him that was kinda the point.

I'm a big Tony Scott fan. He's right up there with his brother, IMO.

Guy films - Scott Miller - 09-16-2005

I checked out Reign of Fire last night and was pleasantly surprised(I'd heard such terrible things about it), and it qualifies as a GF.

Others: American Psycho, Wrong Turn, Mystery Science Theater, Species.
