Note to Irishkkc 2.0: just because Kate's a lesbian doesn't mean she has to be played by a lesbian. And also Anne Hache has always looked a little anorexic to me. Kate has had two children and an unhappy marraige, I tend to think she'd be a lil' bit squishy around the mid-section.
Hosts states Kate is in pretty good shape for a 44 year old that has had 2 kids...but I do NOT picture her as a recovering anorexic.

And yes, West is good at playing an evil bastard.

Err...make that a blonde with naturally curly hair. Her mom was a brunette but, as it says in Hosts, she takes after her father's side of the family in facial structure and hair colour [Jack takes after his mom].

Sorry.

Sorry it is just who I visualized as I was reading Hosts. It has nothing to do with her being a lesbian. When I read a book, whenever a new character is introduced I stop reading and think of an actor/ actress to visualize as the part. Again, I am sorry I just pictured Anne Heche. I might have seen 6 Days 7 Seven Nights that day...... thats probably why whenever I think of Abe I think of Harrison Ford...... and come to think of it David Schwimmer would make a horrible Jack.......

Heh...David Schwimmer as Jack...heh.

I love 6 Days 7 Nights.

No need to apologize...the day is not here...yet...that we need to apologize for who we visualize as the characters when we read a book.

Ford was the right age for Abe when he made that flick...he's 67 this year, though.

Heh...David Schwimmer as Jack...heh.

Just found a good contender for Gia:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmlFd7XRtkM&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eb3ta%2Ecom%2Flinks%2FScary%5Fbut%5Fentertaining&feature=player_embedded#t=95

Hot, but with a certain maturity that befits Gia's motherly role. Smile

You're a sick man, Bones.

I tried to click the Youtube link but it didn't load, and as I read through the rest of the posts I came to the conclusiont hat I'm thankful it didn't.

Harrison Ford would need to pack on some pounds to play Abe.
David Schwimmer................................................No.

I too picture actors in the roles of the books I read, but I wait until I get all their features in there first for a reason. Example: in the book Once A Thief by Kay Hooper, I first pictured the cat-burglar Quinn as being blond and fair, well later in the book it reveals he is in fact dark haried and tan. Thoroughly threw off all my character specs. So now I wait before I picture, cause now I have him permanently blond in my head when he shouldn't be.

Please don't judge us by our worst, bones, but rather think of our best: George Washington, Bob Dylan, and Muhammad Ali. (To name only 3Wink)
