Maggers Wrote:You are absolutely correct, Ken. I will go back and add spoiler alert.

I just couldn't imagine that no one has seen GWTW, but you're right, some folks may not have.
I haven't. Never really had a desire to see it.

The Empire Strikes Back: Vader chops off Luke's hand and then blows his mind by telling him who his father is.

Return of the Jedi: Luke/Vader/Emperor scene

Temple of Doom: the showdown on the bridge; that minecar chase is badass enough, but this part just ups the ante...

Back to the Future III: duel with MadDog Tannen

Die Hard: shooting Hans Gruber

The Usual Suspects: Finding the real identity of Keyser Soze

Seven: the look on Brad Pitt's face..

Blade Runner: the ending of the director's cut

Fight Club: Just so twisted.

E.T. : So heartwarming and still moves me to this day.

And I'm sure there's more but this is all I could come up with for now.

Gotta agree with 'Fight Club'. Second time I saw it was quite a while after the first time and I forgot the ending. But now I don't think I'll ever forget again.

The same thing happened to me with this movie: 'Manon des sources' (Manon of the Spring). Gotta watch the "prequel/part one" 'Jean de Florette' first for the entire story arc.

That was so sad, it disturbed me for quite a while, even now thinking about the end. Haven't seen Manon yet.

If we're talking the absolute last thing/scene seen in a film, I personally love the fade out of Tom Hanks' smiling face in Cast Away (cue Sylvestri's great score).

Also, Spacey's closing dialogue in American Beauty - and the last shot of Heat with Pacino standing over DeNiro.

Others?
Blair Witch
Angel Heart
Jacob's Ladder

Surprisingly enough, a scene that sticks out in my mind, is Mystery Men. When they exit the mansion with smoke wafting around them.

I agree. That was wonderful. I'll never forget that last scene.

Others, Angel Heart, Jacob's Ladder...oh yeah! They were excellent ending. But, Blair Witch..? Hmm........well, that was......(I lost my words)
