How about Chicago Hope? Has nobody seen it? Big Grin

I like ER. I'm watching all episodes.

Japanese medical drama is awful. I hope they don't broadcast in America and other countries. Bad actors, bad story and concept...also they are very boring. Rolleyes

I am another ex All My Children addict. I got hooked at army basic training at Ft. Campbell, KY in 1970. At lunch time, there was one TV which was always tuned to AMC. It took years to kick the Erica habit.

Same reason I don't watch any of the legal shows or CSI. I thought you would probably say that.

That show rocked, and kept moving. If it proceeded in "Soap Time" it would still be on.

And it exposed the kids to classic themes in it's own way: Dracula, Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde, Frankenstrin, The Turn of the Screw, Jane Eyre, The Cthulhu Mythos

Dark Shadows! Now that was a soap I could sink my fangs, I mean, teeth, into! Is it available on DVD?

Yeah, they just started releasing them last year I think, 1 set every other month, 40 episodes per set. If you preorder on Amazon.com a set is about $41.00 and qualify for free shipping. That's like $1.00/episode. They don't include the pre-Barnabas episodes, but summarize them in a 20 minute intro.

Watching then again, I am truely impressed by the talent of John Karlen (Willie).
In the 60's I just thought he was a loser, but watching now, I cannot understand why he didn't (or wasn't offered) go on to greater things.
