As different as this version is from the book I can't see where its going to go from here. And to be honest I hope they can find enough interest to last another whole season.

The series has Big Jim blaming all the murders on Barby....and Barby standing on a platform about to be hanged. [SPOILER] mean-while....the egg shoots out pink stars when thrown into the water to hide it. Every one is looking up at them...and it just ends.[/SPOILER]

THAT's how the book ends? That's an ending straight from a Star Trek episode. Lame. I mean that the book had the same ending, not the Star Trek episode being lame. Gene Roddenberry should smack Stephen King upside the head.
I think I'm glad that I didn't read the book.

I actually really liked how Dark Tower ended. It was King injecting himself into the story I didn't care for.
