There is soooo much to tie up in just two episodes. Hope we get some resolution to all the stuff going on. Like what on earth were those creatures in the yard of the asylum?

You're right...there is alot to tie up. Sister Jude still in the nuthatch. From last night episode....she lost alot of time. Kit's kids now without moms. Just why is Kit so special? Is he a half alien as well? The serial killer son looking for mom. Lana better watch out.

Yup, all that! Plus the present day story, I assume the son is the person killing people, but that story hasn't come back in a while.
I also think those creatures were his experiments, but to what end? Why didn't they escape? How did they survive outside on what they were fed? I doubt many details would be revealed, but even knowing what the goal was would fill in many gaps.
As interesting as this season is in some respects, I liked season 1 better. It's like they concentrated every old mental institution worst case scenario into one place, then added a Nazi war criminal and his continued medical atrocities as well as horrors of religios institutions. Still worth watching though.

Finally just got caught up with watching this so I can read this thread. I can't imagine how they will wrap all this up in only one more episode. And I'm wondering if Season 3 will be about the present day Johnny.

I'm thinking Lana shoots her own son. The angel of death....love! those wings.....comes for sister Jude. For Kit.....maybe the aliens come back for him and the babies.
I really would like to know just why Kit is so special in regard to the aliens. We heard it enough times....I wanna know why.

Well....I called that except for the kids being taken back.
They never explained why Kit was so special to the aliens. I guess it's left up to us to decide. I'd like to think he is part alien or influenced, like the kids are. They came back for him when he needed a cure.
Next season will be another story line. I wonder what they'll do this time?

OMG! That was so awesome. I'm so glad I got hooked on this series. Now that Season 2 is over we can watch the DVD's of Season 1 and see what that was like. I would've like to see Julia and Thomas grown up.

Tony seems to think season 3 will deal with witchcraft due to some cryptic references in one of the episodes. I'm sure he could elaborate more. I do know next season will be set in the present.
And I loved the finale even though not all questions were answered. I'm not one that needs that though. I prefer some questions remain for us to discuss.
I think it was a little more upbeat than season 1.
