the books, the man, and the future... - Legion - 10-26-2008 jacksgia Wrote:O_o I agree with both jack2021 and the other people. No one knows what everyone has gone through in life and the backgrounds they have lived. In agreement with everyone else, it is the internet. There's a saying something like if you fight over the internet, it's like the Special Olympics even if you win you are still retarded. *side note*(Nothing against the Special Olympics). Great. Now we get advice from the genius/joker who believes her BF is the "REAL" Jack. Okay, Run-on, here's the deal. I have Bipolar disorder, ADHD, depression and quite a few other disorders. Enough so that they actually caused me to get removed from military service. But I still use punctuation. Hell, I even have a Bachelors in writing for Film and Television. Its called proof reading and spell check Dyslexia sux. It does. But you did not tell us this when we first commented on your run-on sentences and lack of punctuation. And as Capt said, its the internet. This doesn't matter. If you get bent out of shape like this by simple forum posts, I would hate to be around you in the physical world when somebody said something you didn't like. And calling us yuppies??? Here is a little help for you from Urbandictionary.com Yuppie A very arrogant well put together young urban professional who you more than likely will find wearing gucci and prada with a large bank account which they love to brag about. You can find them drinking Starbucks, living in a one bedroom apartment in a city where they will pay 1000-2000 a month for and spending another 3000 a month on their credit cards. They brag about their designer clothes and love to flaunt them , as well as their wealth. They look down upon anyone who isnt as wealthy or high status as they are. Men are likely to be found wearing designer suits, gucci preferably with slicked back or well cut hair. The women will be wearing prada/gucci and fendi. The most arrogant concieted fucks on the planet. Name calling is just plain ridiculous and immature to begin with but c'mon! At least call us something that makes sense. So, I am in agreement with Capt. K. Run-On, you need to grow the fuck up, dude. the books, the man, and the future... - cobalt - 10-26-2008 jacksgia Wrote:Also Aren't we all adults here??? Then if we are all supposedly then why don't we act like them and not elementary school. The nice thing about the net is that I can post what I want, just like you can. Whether I choose to believe what you post is my choice. Believe what I write in other threads? Your choice as well. If I choose to be suspicious of what I thought to be outlandish claims....it's my right to believe what I want. You're opinion of me? I don't care. You do know what "they" say about opinions don't you? the books, the man, and the future... - jacksgia - 10-26-2008 lol He's probably bull headed. Also, (just stating a fact) look at how many illiterate people are out in the world. Depending on his location, high education may not be the norm. I know in New York State, a lot of people have good educations. The standards for the high schools are the highest in the country, besides California, where they require Regents exams. In that case the students (well most) have good strong points. Another point, he may not be strong in English, where he can have strong points in lets say Math. I am not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone. I see both sides being made here. I am just stating some facts that I do know. Yes, there are word checks. the books, the man, and the future... - Marc - 10-26-2008 Since there is no point to this thread at the moment other than name calling and general negativity I'm closing it. |
