Obama vs. Rasalom *speculation) - johntfs - 10-10-2008

Quote:A question for you, Johntfs. Have you ever served in the armed forces? Are you a poli sci major? I would really love to know where all of your information is coming from. That way I know to never send my kid to that school.

I have not served in the military and am not a poli-sci major. I graduated with a major in Management-Marketing and a Minor in Psychology from an SBC (Southern Baptist Convention) supported university located in what could best be described as the "sweaty crotch" of the Bible Belt. And unless you want your darling offspring brainwashed into loving the Tim Lahaye version of Jesus, you are in fact best off sending your kid to another college.

That said, I don't care how many guns you own, as long as you're not pointing them at me. For that matter, I don't care what you eat, drink, read, watch, play, snort, smoke, inject or screw. I don't think that's my business. I don't think that's the government's business either. The only time the way you live your live concerns me is when your life impacts mine. So, unless you're driving your car high on cocaine while talking on your cellphone and fellating a goat on the same road as me, I don't give much of crap. Of course, should you crash, the full legal consequences of your behavior should come down on you. You run somebody over in a car while high, you don't go down for "vehicular manslaughter." You go down for Murder 2. That's the way I see it, anyway.

I think that Obama generally agrees with me on most of those points. And for once I'd like to see a President protecting and defending the Constitution instead of trying to subvert and ignore it.

I believe in property rights, beginning with the concept that you are the absolute owner of your own life, and have the right to live your life in any manner you choose -- provided that you do not forcibly interfere with anybody else's right to live their life in any manner they choose.

Parallel to that is what we call the ZAP, or Zero Aggression Principle. Simply stated, it means that NO ONE, no individual, no group, has a right to initiate, incite, or delegate the use of force, against any other individual or group, for any reason whatsoever.

If you truly want someone in office who will defend the constitution instead of "trying to subvert and ignore it," your candidate is Ron Paul. Not Barack Obama.

Obama has done little else in his political career EXCEPT to subvert and ignore the constitution.

Which makes him a blood brother to John McCain.

johntfs Wrote:I'm wondering how closely the RJ novels with hew to the "real world" with respect to the upcoming election. Many polls seem to indcate a probable Obama victory in November (especially the projection at fivethirtyeight.com).

Assuming he does get elected, an Obama presidency would tend to herald a rise of American prestige abroad and a foreign policy based around unity between America's allies and strong diplomatic engagement with other nations as well as increased cooperation in attack global terror networks. Not to mention Obama's constant mantra of Hope. The overall result of all this would tend to be a reduction in fear, hatred and violence - and thus a poisoning of the feast that the Otherness planned to have on our world.

Therefore, one would expect that Rasalom and various agents of the Otherness would make moves designed to thwart a President who plans to spoil their "dinner." And one wonders if Jack might become involved in spoiling Rasalom's plans.

That said, a plot involving a possible Presidential assassination seems a little too involved and public for Jack, who prefers to shun officialdom like the plague. On the other hand, Obama himself began his political career as a local community organizer. Perhaps there's someone in Jack's New York like that...

That has to be the most cult-like post I've read on this forum.

(Possible Spoiler Alert Follows)

Hey! Maybe Obama is a Kicker!
