Well, if you're going to have a German ghost direct, my choice is either Leni Riefenstahl, Fritz Lang (yes I know he was Austrian) or F.W. Murnau. And as long as you're having ghosts come back, cast Marlene Dietrich and Conrad Veidt as well.

Murnau not only shared 2 of Paul's three initials, but he hailed from Nordrhein-Westphalen! Coincidence? I think not!

My carelessness, Biggles. I =meant= Riefenstahl, but my fingers chose that moment to freelance. Gotta watch them little guys every second!
